PICTURES OF VERA...

A couple of things I forgot:
Lori has been out of ICU since Sunday, and is in the PNU now at Lehigh. She is eating, up walking, and is feeling better. Hopefully, she will be discharged in the next couple of days.

Vera is still on the breathing tube with 31% oxygen, and is at times breathing over the vent. This is another encouraging sign.

Also, I can only update when I get home at night. I cannot get WiFi at Lehigh and the computer at Jefferson does not work. I am sorry I can't get updates to you earlier. I am doing my best.

Here are a few photos of Vera:
1. Vera with the cooling cap on---her body was cooled through her head.
2. Elianna holding Vera's hand
3. Daddy, Elie, and Vera spending quiet time together
4. Aunt Joy praying for Vera
5. Daddy praying over Vera and holding hands
6. Praying hands
7. 1st day without the cooling cap--FREEDOM!! Now you can see my dark hair
8. My nurses take good care of me
9. Dear Jesus, Thank you for making me perfect in You. Use me for Your glory. Thank you for my mommy and daddy and for all the love they give to me. Please tell my mommy, daddy, Elie, Micah, and Hudson I love them very much and can't wait to be with them. Comfort them in Your arms as you have comforted me. Thank you for gently rocking me to sleep each night. I love you, Amen.

  7. She is beautiful! We are praying for your family. We don't know Lori and Dave really well (I am friends with Ian and Rebecca) but think they are wonderful people and are thinking of them often.

I think Vera will do fine. I really do.
