He's OK.

Praise the Lord! Isaiah made it through his 3 hour abdomnal surgery. We will post all the details later b/c right now we are exhausted. Continue to pray b/c he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Thanks again for prying for us. We plan to go to bed early tonight so look for an update tomorrow.

PS - just a reminder that if you want to look at the pictures on Mike's Blog, the password is "emr"

  1. Chris and Joy,
He is just so precious and a true miracle! May God continue to bless you and watch over you as you face each new day! Your faith and strength through all of this has been a true inspiration to me and hopefully a light to all whose paths you have crossed.

  4. Joy, Bruce and I just had our second little boy in December, I know as I new mom again, I cannot imagine the stress you've been under, you are a strong woman and I pray for you, and your family everytime I think of you, you've been on my heart, b/c I have a 2 month old and know that we take a healthy child for granted. He is a gorgeous little boy and I pray he will grow stronger each day. God Bless you.

  5. I am constantly amazed day to day how well Isaiah is doing. God is so good. I feel like we are all on the sidelines of an epic race and Isaiah is who we are cheering on. Go little buddy. I will see you soon. Love you.

  6. We just found out recently about all that you and your family are going through. Our prayers are continual for you. Praise the Lord for His graciousness. What a praise to hear the reports keep coming with blessings. CHOP holds a special place in my heart as does the Ronald McDonald house. Matt worked at CHOP for a couple of years and the heartfelt compassion of those people is not found in many places. We continue to lift you all up to the Great Physician. What a precious time this must be for all of you!!

  10. Hey guys! Saw your pics of your adorable baby Isaiah! What a blessing he is! Praying for you all! Just saw on Mike Landis's photos that you are at CHOP? My friend Colleen is a nurse that works at CHOP in the unit Isaiah is in. She is a fellow believer and wonderful to speak to should you need encouragement or answers! Her name is Colleen McCarthy - I'll let her know you guys are there! Praying for you all!
